How to add an employee to your VF200

Introduction

In order to successfully add a user to the software it is important that you enrol the user to your VF200 device before hand. In this document, we'll provide a step by step guide on how to an add an employee to the device. You will need to be logged in as an Administrator to access any settings for adding the new employee. 


Enrolling an employee

To enrol an employee follow the steps below:

  1. From the List Setting menu tap 'User Management'.
  2. Next tap 'User Management'.
  3. Tap 'Enrol User'.
  4. After this tap on the 'Face' and ask the employee to look into the circled area, adjusting their position as necessary.
  5. Fill in the Name in the top box (if the box is not fully visible you can tap just below to show full screen)
  6. Next tap in the 'Input User ID' box and fill this in with a user number which will be referred to in the software.
  7. Tap on the word 'Face' below and then tap 'Confirm' in the top right.
  8. Repeat steps 3 to 7 for all staff.
  9. Press the top left back button twice to return to the home screen.


Considerations

While there is the ability to use the Finger Print reader it is currently being improved before we add it to our Sales & Marketing Content. You can attempt to use Finger Print as a method to Clock in or Out, but we are aware of improvements that are required and are working on them as a priority.
