Getting timy terminal back online and sending data

This can happen when a terminal loses its network or WiFi connection, stops syncing, or just needs a nudge to start sending clockings again. Try these steps in order:

  1. Reboot the terminal. Either unplug the power cable and plug it back in, or go to Data Mgt in the menus, scroll down and press the reboot button. This alone often brings it back online.
  2. Reconnect to the network.
    • On WiFi: go to Comms Set > WiFi, then disconnect and reconnect to the network.
    • On ethernet: unplug the cable for a few seconds, then plug it back in.

Still not sending data?

Send me photos of the terminal’s network settings so I can try to spot the issue:

  • WiFi menu (Log in > Comms Set > WiFi)
  • Ethernet menu (Log in > Comms Set > Ethernet)
  • Server menu (Log in > Comms Set > Server)
