Setting up the MB20 for Dispatch

  • Take the terminal from the box and remove the fingerprint protective sticker.
  • Remove quick set up guide sheet, wired connector and white proxy card.
  • Place a small Clocking Systems sticker on to left of the terminal
  • Power on
  • Tick the box - untick & okay
  • M/ok & okay
  • Select Personalize Menu
    • User Interface
      • Scroll to ‘Slide Show Intervals’
        • Set to disabled
      • Scroll to ‘Idle Time to Sleep’
        • Set ‘User Defined’
          • Set to 1 & OK
          • Esc
    • voice
    • volume - set to 40
    • Esc to Main menu

 

  • User Mgt
    • New User
    • User ID & okay
      • 7856
    • User Role - Super Admin
    • Scroll down to ‘Set Password’ and set to 587856
    • Esc to Main menu

 

  • COMM
    • Ethernet
      • DHCP- set to ON
    • Server settngs
      • Set the Server IP address to 192.055.168.165 (for Biotime & Infotime just set to 000.000.000.000)
      • Set the Server Port to 17856
      • Set HTTPS to off
      • Esc to Main menu

 

  • System
    • Date time
      • Manual Date & Time
        • Set the date & time correctly
      • Select Time zone – UTC
      • Date Format - DD-MM-YY
      • Esc
    • Attendance
      • Duplicate punch period - set to 1
      • Esc
    • Security
      • User ID masking - set to OFF
      • Scroll down to ‘Face Function’
        • Ok to turn off
        • Terminal will reboot

 

Add the Quick start guide, box back up & tick done
